Billionaire Bars
- 1 &1/2 cups sugar
- 2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
- 2 & 1/4 cups flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1-14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees .
- Line a baking dish with foil or parchment paper (9x13").
- Spray with non stick spray.
- Start with the base .
- Melt butter add dry ings.lightly mix until it starts to hold together.
- Press dough into prepared pan.prick with a fork.
- Bake 25 minutes.until lightly Brown.
- Let cool.
- Fir the filling: heat butter & Brown sugar & milk in a heavy sausepan.
- Let simmer and stir constantly until it thickens and becomes a carmel color.
- About 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat stir in vanilla.
- Pour over cookie base and spread evenly.
- Let it cool completely.
- Before adding topping.
- Topping : Heat chocolates separately using a double boiler.
- Drop spoonfuls of melted chocolate over carmel.
- With a knife drag lines of melted chocolate all over top.
- Let bars set in refrigerator until chocolate becomes firm.
- Cut into bars.
