Gluhwein (German Mulled Wine)

  1. Heat the red wine to a low simmer.
  2. Add all other ingredients to the red wine.
  3. Heat for approximately 5 minutes then remove from the heat.
  4. Cover and allow to infuse for 1 hour.
  5. Reheat and pass through a sieve before serving.
