Simple Salsa Mac and Cheese
- 1 lb. (450 g) extra-lean ground beef
- 1 jar (440 mL) salsa
- 1-3/4 cups water
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 225 g Velveeta Process Cheese Product, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- Brown meat in large skillet.
- Stir in salsa and water.
- Bring to boil.
- Stir in macaroni; cover.
- Simmer on medium-low heat 8 to 10 min.
- or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Add Velveeta; cook 3 min.
- or until Velveeta is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring constantly.
