Maple Butter Cream Frosting

  1. Beat butter, maple syrup and maple extract until smooth.
  2. gradually add sifted powdered sugar.
  3. I start adding a little of my liquid halfway through if it gets too thick.
  4. Add enough milk or half and half to just make it spreading consistency once all the sugar is added .
  5. I also added 1/2 tsp vanilla to mine.
  6. Add pinch of salt if necessay.
  7. I use salted butter so I don't use it.
  8. Place chopped bacon on frosted cupcakes if desired.
  9. You're missing out if you don't!

  11. I used butter pecan cake mix and added a tsp of maple extract for my cupcakes.
  12. It's better if they are home made if not on a time crunch.
  13. Try french toast cupcake batter.
  14. Truly awesome!
