Hoppin John Recipe

  1. Cook rice according to package directions.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In large skillet fry celery and onion till tender.
  4. Add in ham, cooked rice, black-eyed peas (with juice), and seasonings.
  5. Stir well and simmer for 20 min.
