Deep Fried Sweet And Sour Pork Recipe

  1. Prepare seasoning sauce and set aside.
  2. Beat egg yolk with water; blend in flour and cornstarch till smooth.
  3. Add in cubes of pork and mix to coat well; drain off excess.
  4. Pour oil into wok to a depth of about 1 1/2 inch and heat to 340 degrees.
  5. Add in meat and fry till golden, 10-12 min.
  6. Drain and keep hot.
  7. Remove all but 2 Tbsp.
  8. of oil from wok.
  9. Over medium heat add in garlic and stir till lightly browned.
  10. Add in green pepper and stir fry 1 minute.
  11. Add in pineapple, seasoning sauce and meat; stir till mix boils and thickens, 1 minute.
  12. Serve over warm cooked rice.
  13. Makes 3 servings.
