Spiced Asparagus

  2. Slice the asparagus into 2 inch pieces discarding the tough ends.

  4. On medium high heat melt the reserved spiced pork fat from the pork belly recipe# 238773 in a medium sized pan.
  5. It should render at least 2-3 tsp of highly spiced fat.
  6. 3.
  7. Add the asparagus pieces and fry until slightly golden stirring often.
  8. Season with salt and serve with salmon dish or chicken.
