Chicken Tender Rolls with Plum and Shiso in the Microwave

  1. Butterfly the chicken tenders and roll flat.
  2. Season with pepper, and then mash the umemoshi as you spread it on the chicken.
  3. Top with the shiso leaves.
  4. Roll the chicken up tightly, then wrap with plastic wrap.
  5. Microwave it at 500 W for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove it from the microwave and let it warm through to the middle by residual heat.
  7. Leave it for a while, then slice it and transfer to a serving plate to finish.
  8. It's nice with some yuzu or sesame sprinkled on.
