Sausage and Peppers Egg Bake
- 1/2 lb. Italian turkey sausage
- 1/2 cup chopped red peppers
- 24 multigrain saltine crackers
- 1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- Remove and discard casings from sausage, if necessary.
- Crumble sausage into medium skillet.
- Add peppers; cook on medium heat 8 to 10 min.
- or until sausage is evenly browned, stirring frequently.
- Spread crackers onto bottom of 9-inch square baking dish; top with sausage mixture and cheese.
- Whisk eggs and milk until blended; pour over sausage mixture.
- Refrigerate 4 hours.
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Bake casserole (uncovered) 40 to 45 min.
- or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
