Baby Food Snack Milky Kabocha Squash Jello

  1. Completely dissolve the gelatin powder in 50 ml of hot water.
  2. Remove the skin from the kabocha and cut into pieces.
  3. Microwave to soften (I microwaved at 600 W for 3 minutes)
  4. Mash the kabocha in a blender or pass through a strainer.
  5. Combine the formula, Step 1, and Step 3 in a bowl and place over a bowl of ice water.
  6. Mix with a whisk.
  7. When the mixture has become cooled and thick, pour into a container and chill it in the refrigerator so that it hardens.
  8. This hardness is perfect for babies who are in the middle of eating solids.
