Poblano Burger
- 24 each 80% lean ground beef patties (6 oz. each)
- 1-1/2 qt. Chihuahua cheese, shredded Target 2 For $5.00 thru 02/06
- 2-1/4 cups A.1. Thick & Hearty Steak Sauce, divided
- 24 each whole wheat hamburger buns, toasted
- 8 each white onions, each cut crosswise into 6 slices, grilled King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 4-1/2 cups small poblano chiles, roasted, peeled, seeded and cut into thin strips
- For each serving: Grill 1 beef patty on medium-high heat 2 to 3 min.
- on each side or to medium (160 degrees F), or desired doneness.
- Top with 1/4 cup (1 oz.)
- cheese.
- Grill 30 sec.
- or until cheese begins to melt.
- Spread 1/2 Tbsp.
- steak sauce onto bottom half of bun; top with cheeseburger, 2 onion slices, 3 Tbsp.
- peppers and 1 Tbsp.
- of the remaining steak sauce.
- Cover with top of bun.
