Deep Dish Biscuit Pizza Recipe
- 1 pound minced meat
- 1/2 c. minced onions
- 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
- 2 ounce. can mushrooms; optional
- 1 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tube Pillsbury Country biscuits
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Brown minced meat with minced onions.
- Drain fat from pan.
- Stir in tomato paste, mushrooms, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 15 min.
- Press tube of biscuits into greased 9 inch pie pan to create crust.
- Spoon meat mix onto crust.
- Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over dish to cover.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 min or possibly till cheese is golden.
- Let stand for 5 min before slicing.
