Beef Strips, Pepper Steak
- 1 pound beef strips
- 3 tablespoon homemade yeast water or sake
- 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 onion
- 4 colored peppers (small)
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
- 1/4 tsp soy-sauce
- 1/4 tsp sesame oil
- Marinade all the ingredients together into a Ziploc bag and keep in the fridge for few hours.
- Chop onion and bell peppers into bite size pieces.
- (By the way, red & green peppers are from my garden!)
- Take out beef strips from Ziploc bag, add flour and mix.
- (I'm using whole wheat flour.)
- Heat the coconut oil in a frying pan.
- Add chopped onions and color peppers and fry for about 1-2 minutes.
- Add salt.
- Add black pepper.
- (I'm using mixed pepper corns.)
- Add beef strips and fry few more minutes.
- Add remaining marinade sauce.
- (Yes, don't throw it away!
- You need this.)
- Add a little soy-sauce.
- Add a little sesame oil.
- Turn it off the heat, serve and enjoy!
