Robert E. Lee Tomato Pie

  1. Arrange a layer of sliced tomatoes in pie shell.
  2. Sprinkle with basil, salt and pepper.
  3. Repeat layers.
  4. Combine mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese and spread mixture over tomatoes, sealing the tomatoes.
  5. Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
