Grilled Portabella Mushroom Pizza with Artichokes

  1. Heat grill to medium heat.
  2. Brush both sides of mushrooms with olive oil.
  3. Place mushrooms, stem side down and grill for 5 minutes.
  4. Flip mushrooms over.
  5. Spoon on pizza sauce, sprinkle with artichoke hearts, garlic and basil.
  6. Layer on fresh mozzarella.
  7. Close grill and cook for about 7 to 9 minutes, until mushroom is tender and cheese is melted.
  8. Garnish with crushed rep pepper and Parmesan, if desired.
