Spicy Beef Chili
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked black beans
- 2 cup cooked kidney beans
- 2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, choppped
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 cup corn
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 2 tbsp chipotle chilli powder
- 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- In a large skillet, on medium high heat, cook ground beef until brown.
- Breaking it up into small pieces.
- In a large sauce pan add below ingredients, and mix well.
- Cook on medium low heat for 40 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Let cool for 5 minutes and serve with your favorite toppings!
- I used fresh Roma tomatoes, avocados, & sour cream.
