Tourtiere Burgers
- 1 egg
- 14 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 14 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 12 teaspoon celery salt
- 12 teaspoon ground savory
- 12 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 14 lb ground pork
- 14 lb medium ground beef
- hest barbecue to medium heat.
- In a bowl whisk egg with sour cream and Dijon mustard.
- Stir in bread crumbs seasoning and onion.
- Crumble in meat.
- Mix gently with a fork or your hands.
- Divide into 4 portions and shape them into burgers.
- Place burgers on barbecue, grill with lid closed until meat is firm to the touch and cooked through.
- This will take about 8 minute Top with cheese and sweet chili sauce.
- I used swiss cheese, then put them on crusty buns.
