Yummy Chocolate Brownies

• 3/4 cup flour, all-purpose
• 13 cup cocoa powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup sugar white
• 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
• 2 large eggs
• 3 tablespoons water cold
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Preheat oven to 375F.
2. Grease an 8-inch square cake pan.
3. Sift together: flour, cocoa, salt, white sugar
4. Stir together: shortening, eggs, cold water, vanilla.
5. Beat until smooth.
6. Stir in 1/2 of chopped nuts (optional).
7. Pour into prepared greased pan.
8. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
