Slow cooker BBQ Pulled beef
- 3 cup water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp ground dried oregano
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 5 lb rump roast (your choice cut)
- 7 oz packaged dry Italian style dressing mix
- 3 cup favorite BBQ sauce(I use Baby Rays)
- 1 tsp onion salt
- 1 packages of potato rolls or mini buns
- 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (your choice)
- 1 tbsp Goya sofrito(sold in Latin food isle)
- Combine water, salt, pepper, oregano,onion salt, garlic, sofrito and Italian mix.
- Stir well, bring to boil and turn off.
- Place the roast in slow cooker and pour the ingredients over the top.
- Cover and cook on high for 6 hours.
- When done meat should shred with a fork
- Keep temp on.
- Mix in the BBQ sauce and mix thoroughly.
- Cover for 20 minutes (to warm sauce).
- When done.
- Fill bun/roll with meat.
- Sprinkle desired cheese amount and serve.
