Caramel Pecan Candy Turtles Recipe

  1. Cook all ingredients except vanilla to a stiff ball stage (250 degrees).
  2. Remove from heat and add in vanilla.
  3. Don't stir more than necessary.
  4. Have a pan 10x12-inch ready, buttered and covered with pecans.
  5. Cover with caramel mix.
  6. Cut in squares and dip in chocolate.
  7. Takes about 1 lb.
