Country Sausage Casserole
- 1/2 lb. breakfast pork sausage links, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken
- 2 cups frozen stir-fry vegetables (broccoli, carrots, red peppers, snow peas), thawed
- 1/3 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided
- Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Cook and stir sausage and onions in large skillet on medium-high heat until sausage is evenly browned.
- Meanwhile, combine next 5 ingredients in large bowl.
- Drain sausage mixture.
- Add to stuffing mixture along with 1/2 cup cheese; mix lightly.
- Spoon into 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with remaining cheese.
- Bake 30 min.
- or until heated through.
