Chocolate-Dipped Caramel Apples

  1. Insert wooden pop stick into stem end of each apple.
  2. Microwave caramels and water in deep microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 to 3 min.
  3. or until caramels are melted, stirring every minute.
  4. Dip apples in caramel, turning to evenly coat; scrape excess from bottoms of apples.
  5. Roll bottoms of apples in nuts; place on greased tray.
  6. Refrigerate 15 min.
  7. Microwave chocolate in separate deep microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 to 1-1/4 min.
  8. or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring after 1 min; stir until completely melted.
  9. Drizzle chocolate over apples or dip bottoms of apples in chocolate; place on waxed paper-covered tray.
  10. Let stand until chocolate is firm.
  11. Keep refrigerated.
