Papaya Chutney
- 1 medium papayas ripe
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cilantro fresh, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons ginger root grated
- 3/4 teaspoon ginger ground
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 18 teaspoon cinnamon ground
- Pare papaya.
- Cut papaya in half and scoop out centers.
- Chop papaya finely.
- Heat all ingredients to boiling in 10 inch skillet; reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm or cold.
