Grilled Romaine Salad
- 1-1/2 qt. KRAFT MAYO Fat Free Mayonnaise Dressing
- 3 cups balsamic vinegar
- 1-1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 cups red onions, chopped
- 12 heads heads of romaine lettuce, cut lengthwise in half
- 1 cup olive oil
- 3 qt. tomatoes, chopped
- 1-1/2 qt. feta cheese, crumbled
- Place dressing, vinegar, sugar and onions in food processor container; cover.
- Process until pureed.
- Pour into bowl; cover.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Drizzle romaine with olive oil.
- Grill over medium-high heat 5 min., turning occasionally.
- Cut each piece lengthwise in half.
- For each serving: Place 1 romaine piece (1/4 of a head) on serving plate; top with 3 Tbsp.
- of the dressing mixture, 1/4 cup of the tomatoes and 2 Tbsp.
- of the cheese.
