Chicken Or Beef Paprikash (Stew) Recipe
- 1 1/2 - 2 pound beef cubes or possibly 1 lg. chicken, cut up
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 1 onion, cut up
- 2 tbsp. paprika to taste
- Water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Brown beef or possibly chicken in oil; remove.
- Add in onions to pot; cook till soft.
- Add in paprika; mix all, add in meat and cook 2 to 3 min.
- Add in salt and pepper to taste.
- Add in sufficient water to almost cover meat.
- Simmer till meat is tender (about 2 hrs for beef, 1 hour for chicken).
- Serve with boiled potatoes (or possibly noodles) and salad.
- Serves about 4 people.
