Italian Pan Biscuit

  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  4. Add milk; stir just until moistened.
  5. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; knead 10 times.
  6. Pat dough into 9" round shape.
  7. In a small bowl stir together melted butter and seasonings.
  8. Pour 1/2 butter mixture into 9" round cake pan.
  9. Place dough in pan; pour remaining butter mixture over dough.
  10. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until light golden brown.
  11. Remove from pan; cut into 12 wedges.
  12. Serve warm.
