Hot Sauce for Steak
- 2/3 cup chopped onions
- 1/3 cup chopped green bell peppers
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2/3 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon chile powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2/3 cup ground peanuts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup sour or heavy cream
- Saute the onions and peppers in the olive oil for 5 minutes in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the tomatoes, salt, chile powder, and paprika and saute for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the peanuts and broth and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Stir in the cream, pour over your steak, and serve.
