Crab Wontons
- 1 package (12 Oz. Package) Wonton Wrappers
- 2 Tablespoons Water
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 blocks (8 Oz. Block) Cream Cheese
- 3 Tablespoons Chopped Green Onion
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Or Soy Sauce
- 4 ounces, weight Crab Meat Or Imitation Crab Meat
- Pour oil into a frying pan or wok, about 1 deep.
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients except wonton wrappers and water.
- Use one wonton wrapper at a time, moisten the edges with water on a finger and place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center.
- Fold over and seal the edges well.
- Continue till all filling is used.
- Makes approximately 20 pieces.
- Cook in hot oil for approximately 1 minute on each side till lightly browned.
- Drain on a paper towel.
- Serve with your favorite Oriental dipping sauce, such as sweet and sour, soy sauce, or orange sauce.
