30 Minute Red Beans And Rice

  1. In large, deep skillet add oil.
  2. Peel onions, cut in half and slice in a medium thickness.
  3. Add to heated oil, medium-high heat, and saute 2 minutes.
  4. Add rice and saute another 3 minutes.
  5. Add in seasonings, cilantro, stir and add the hottest water from your tap.
  6. Cover, reduce heat to simmer and cook 20 minutes.
  7. You can garnish with some sour cream and more fresh cilantro.
