Green Beans and Tempeh in XO Sauce

  1. Trim both ends of the green beans.
  2. Cut into 1-inch (2 cm) pieces.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Cut tempeh into 1/2-inch (1 cm) cubes.
  5. Fry in a wok without oil for 10 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  6. Set aside.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in wok over high heat.
  8. Add green beans and stir fry for 12 minutes.
  9. Add water and stir fry for 23 more minutes until tender crisp and water has evaporated.
  10. Add tempeh, then add XO sauce and sweet soy sauce.
  11. Toss together until everything is coated.
  12. Serve over rice or noodles.
