Easy Italian Meatballs
- 400 grams Ground pork (or beef)
- 1/3 Onion (grated)
- 1 clove Garlic (finely chopped)
- 20 grams Grated cheese
- 1 Egg
- 10 grams Panko
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 1 Thyme (if you have some)
- 1 Oregano (if you have some)
- 1 Nutmeg (optional, if you have it)
- 1 Tomato Sauce
- In a bowl, mix together all of the ingredients except for the tomato sauce.
- Roll into bite-sized balls and arrange on a heat-proof tray.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 190C for 15 minutes.
- (You can also fry them).
- Some juice may seep out from the meatballs, but you can mix it back into the tomato sauce if you like!
- Once they are baked, mix the meatballs and the juices from them together with the sauce to finish!
