Newport Seafood Bake
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. chopped chives
- 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cracker Barrel brand sharp natural Cheddar cheese
- 1 lb. cod or haddock
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. (3 c.) frozen shrimp, cooked
- 1 (5 oz.) can lobster, drained and cubed
- 2 Tbsp. sherry
- 1 1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Make white sauce with margarine, flour, milk and seasonings.
- Add cheese, stirring until melted.
- Cook fish; skin, bone and cut in pieces.
- Add fish, shrimp, lobster and sherry to sauce.
- Pour into 2-quart casserole.
- Toss crumbs with margarine; sprinkle on top of casserole.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 minutes.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
