Hamburger Onion Pie Recipe
- 1 c. Bisquick
- 1/3 c. light cream
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 2 med. sized onions, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon flavor extender
- 2 tbsp. Bisquick
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 c. sm. curd cottage cheese
- Mix 1 c. Bisquick (you may use homemade biscuit mix, if you like) and cream.
- Knead 10 times.
- Roll dough and place into a 9 inch pie pan.
- Saute/fry beef till browned.
- Saute/fry onions in beef drippings till soft.
- Drain fat.
- Combine beef, onions, seasonings, and 2 Tbsp.
- Bisquick.
- Spread over crust.
- Beat Large eggs; blend in cottage cheese and pour over meat.
- Bake at 350 degrees till done.
