Peanut Butter Brownies
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1-1/4 cup unsifted all-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 cup Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
- 1 cup Reese's Peanut Butter Chips
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 cup Reese's Peanut Butter Chips
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Cream butter or margarine, sugar and vanilla.
- Add eggs; beat well.
- Combine flour and baking soda; add alternately with chocolate syrup to creamed mixture.
- Stir in peanut butter chips.
- Pour batter into greased 13x9x2-inch pan; bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool; frost with peanut butter brownie frosting.
- Peanut Butter Brownie Frosting: Combine 1/3 cup sugar, 1/4 cup evaporated milk and 2 Tbsp.
- butter in a small saucepan.
- Stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil; remove from heat.
- Quickly stir in 1 cup Reese's peanut butter chips until melted; add 1 tsp.
- vanilla.
- Beat to spreading consistancy; frost brownies.
