Applesauce Loaf Recipe

• 1 c. Shortening
• 1 c. Sugar
• 2 x Large eggs
• 1 3/4 c. Flour
• 1 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Baking pwdr
• 1 tsp Baking soda
• 1 tsp Cinnamon
• 1 tsp Nutmeg
• 1 c. Sweetened applesauce Minced nuts

1. Mix shortening to soften.
2. Gradually add in sugar, creaming until light.
3. Add in Large eggs; beat until light and fluffy.
4. Sift together dry ingredients.
5. Add in to mix alternately with applesauce beating after each addition.
6. Stir in nuts.
7. Pour in to loaf pan.
8. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
