Easy Homemade Salsa
- 10 Roma Tomatoes
- 4 Tomatillos
- 1/2 Medium Sweet Onion
- 1/2 Seeded Serrano Pepper (optional)
- 1 whole Lime, Juiced (It Needs To Be A Ripe, Soft Lime)
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cups Chopped Fresh Cilantro
- Coarsely chop tomatoes, tomatillos, onions, and serrano pepper and toss together in a large bowl.
- Working in batches, pulse veggies in a food processor, pulsing each batch to a different fineness (i.e.
- one batch can be a little coarse, one a little finer, and at least one needs to be processed until smooth).
- Pour salsa into a large bowl and add the lime juice, salt, and cilantro.
- Mix well.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour prior to serving.
