Pepper Cheese Beer Bread

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Grease 9x5-inch loaf pan; set aside.
  3. Combine flour, whole wheat flour, 1 cup cheese, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl.
  4. Stir in beer, butter and eggs just until moistened.
  5. Spoon batter into prepared pan.
  6. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake 45-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  8. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.
  9. Let stand on cooling rack 10 minutes.
  10. Serve warm.
