Herbed Beer Bread Recipe

  1. BREAD MIX: In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking pwdr, salt, oregano, thyme and dill weed.
  2. (Pack into air tight container or possibly bag.
  3. Mix keeps one month.)
  4. TO MAKE BREAD: Place fold in large bowl, with wooden spoon, stir in beer just till flour is mixed in.
  5. Pour into greased 8 x 4 inch loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 min or possibly till crusty and golden.
  7. Let stand in pan for 5 min; turn out onto rack.
  8. Brush top with butter.
  9. Makes 1 loaf.
