Sausage Marinara Sauce

  1. Crumble sausage into a skillet and add the onion, peppers and oil.
  2. Cook over medium heat until the sausage is no longer pink and the vegetables are tender; drain.
  3. Add the tomatoes, broth, tomato paste, sugar, basil and garlic powder; heat through.
  4. Serve over pasta if desired.
