Bourbon, Pear and Gorgonzola Burger
- 1-1/2 cups bourbon
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 8 each bartlett pears, each cut into 12 slices Safeway 1 lb For $1.88 thru 02/09
- 24 each 80% lean ground beef patties (6 oz. each) Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09
- 1-1/2 cups Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 24 each kaiser rolls, split, toasted
- 3 cups A.1. Thick & Hearty Steak Sauce, divided
- 1-1/2 cups KRAFT MAYO Real Mayonnaise
- 1-1/2 qt. iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 1 each large onions, each cut into 12 slices, separated into rings King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- For each serving: Beat 1 Tbsp.
- bourbon and 1/4 tsp.
- sugar with whisk in shallow dish.
- Add 4 pear slices; turn over to coat both sides.
- Let stand 1 hour to marinate.
- Drain pears; discard marinade.
- Grill on medium-high heat 1 min.
- on each side or until tender.
- Grill 1 beef patty on medium-high heat 2 to 3 min.
- on each side or to medium (160 degrees F), or desired doneness.
- Top with 1 Tbsp.

- cheese and grilled pears.
- Grill 30 sec.
- or until cheese begins to melt.
- Spread bottom half of roll with 1 Tbsp.
- each steak sauce and mayonnaise; top with 1/4 cup lettuce, about 2 onion rings, cheeseburger and 1 Tbsp.
- of the remaining steak sauce.
- Cover with top of roll.
