Violet Fizz
- 2 ounces gin
- 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/4 ounce Simple Syrup
- 1/2 ounce Creme de violette (violet-flavored liqueur)
- 1/2 ounce half-and-half
- 1 large egg white
- Ice
- 2 ounces chilled club soda
- 1 fresh edible violet or crushed candied violets (optional)
- In a cocktail shaker, combine all of the ingredients except the ice, club soda and violet.
- Shake well for 10 seconds.
- Add ice and shake for 10 more seconds.
- Strain the drink into a chilled highball glass, top with the club soda and garnish with the violet.
