Beef Birds In Wine Sauce Recipe
- 1 1/2 lb Top round or possibly sirloin steak (cut very thin - 1/4 inch slices or possibly pcs)
- 1 lrg Onion, sliced thin
- 2 x Cloves garlic, minced fine
- 2 tsp Minced parsley
- 3 Tbsp. Romano cheese
- 4 ounce Proscuitto ham
- 1/2 c. -(up to)
- 1 c. Red wine
- 1 pch Rosemary
- Cut steak into 3- to 4-inch squares.
- Mix together garlic, parsley, cheese & proscuitto.
- Place 1 tsp.
- of mix in center of meat, place onion slice on top.
- Roll carefully, tie with string or possibly fasten with toothpicks.
- Brown in oil 8-10 min.
- Make gravy with drippings.
- Add in 1/2 to 1 c. burgundy (red) wine & a healthy pinch of rosemary.
- Simmer 30 min.
