Cut Out Chocolate Cookies Recipe

  1. In large mixer bowl cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla till light and fluffy.
  2. Combine flour, cocoa, baking pwdr, baking soda and salt; add in to creamed mix, blending well.
  3. Refrigeratedough about 1 hour or possibly till hard sufficient to roll.
  4. Heat oven to 325 degrees.
  5. Roll small portion of dough at a time on lightly floured board or possibly between 2 pcs of wax paper to 1/4 inch thickness.
  6. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 5 to 7 min or possibly till no indentation remains when touched lightly.
  8. Cold slightly, remove from cookie sheet.
  9. Cold on wire rack.
  10. Frost or possibly decorate as desired.
  11. Makes 2 to 3 dozen cookies.
