Baked Ham In Champagne Recipe

  1. (Optional: canned pineapple slices or possibly spiced apples)
  2. Score ham and place on rack in baking pan.
  3. Cover top with 1 c. brown sugar and pour over 1 bottle champagne.
  4. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hrs.
  5. Combine remaining bottle champagne, remaining brown sugar, honey, ginger and mustard and bring to rolling boil in saucepan.
  6. Lower heat and simmer while basting ham every 15 min till done.
  7. Garnish with pineapple slices and spiced apples, if you like.
