Anzac Bikkies Recipe

  1. Mix coconut, flour, oats, sugar and salt together light.
  2. Heat margarine and syrup, soda (first disolving the soda in boiling water).
  3. Then add in to dry ingredients.
  4. Put teaspoonfull on greased trays leaving room for spreading.
  5. Bake in moderate oven for 15 min till golden.
  6. Loosen on tray and remove when cool.
  7. the resident used 3/4 c. of dessicated coconut instead of 1 c., and baked in a slow oven for 20 min, instead of a moderate oven for 15 min - both recipes are delicious.
