Butternut Pound Cake Recipe
- 3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. canned evaporated lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 Tbsp. VANILLA BUTTERNUT flavoring
- 3 1/4 c. flour
- 5 x Large eggs
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 c. butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Cream sugar, shortening and butter; add in Large eggs, beating till fluffy.
- Add in flavoring.
- Mix flour and salt; mix water and lowfat milk.
- Add in the two mixtures alternately to the first mix.
- Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
- Put into Cool oven; bake 1 hr.
- 40 minutes.
- at 325.
- Cold 10 minutes.
- in pan before turning out.
