Stewed barbecued chicken
- 6 large chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 28 oz tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp splenda
- 1/4 cup dehydrated onion
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup yellow prepared mustard
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp marjoram
- 2 tbsp vinegar, I used coconut vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup butter
- Boil the chicken 7 minutes in water
- Add tomato sauce, spices, vinegar, and butter.
- I mixed everything but vinegar and butter in the can of tomato sauce.
- Simmer to let thicken 25 minutes.
