Crab and Rice Chowder

  1. Saute onion and mushrooms in oil till limp.
  2. Add broccoli, bell pepper and thyme.
  3. Simmer till broccoli is tender about 4 minutes.
  4. Add chicken broth, milk and corn and stir.
  5. Cook uncovered about 10 minutes or until hot.
  6. Stir in crabmeat and rice.
  7. Simmer uncovered until hot about 2 minutes.
  8. Salt and pepper to taste.
