Roasted Applesauce

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Peel, core and quarter apples.
  3. Put the apples in a Dutch oven or large covered casserole dish.
  4. Add remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until apples are soft.
  6. Stir or whisk to desired smoothness.
  7. Note: You may have to adjust the time if you bake with other items at a different temperature.
