Microwave Baked Apples

• 4 large baking apples, cored Safeway 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
• 1/2 cup
• 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
• 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1. Cut thin slice off bottom of each apple to form a flat surface.
2. Place apples in microwavable casserole.
3. Mix syrup, butter and cinnamon in small bowl.
4. Spoon into center of apples.
5. Cover loosely with wax paper.
6. Microwave on HIGH 10 minutes or until apples are tender, rotating dish halfway through cooking time.
